Pakistan’s Early Preparations for Hajj 2026

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has begun initial preparations for Hajj 2026 in a key meeting chaired by Secretary Dr. Syed Atta ur Rehman. The session focused on improving arrangements and services for Pakistani pilgrims, building on lessons learned from the previous year.

Senior officials, including Additional Secretary Dr. Sajid Mehmood Chauhan, participated in the discussion. The meeting reviewed experiences from Hajj 2025 and proposed recommendations to enhance accommodation, transportation, and other organizational aspects for upcoming pilgrims.

The Ministry expressed its commitment to ensuring a well-organized and comfortable Hajj experience for Pakistani citizens through timely and effective planning.
