Law interns from the Federal Judicial Academy recently visited the District Courts in Haripur, gaining valuable insight into the operations of the local judicial system. The visit offered them an opportunity to observe court proceedings, understand judicial processes, and witness the crucial role played by the District Bar Association in the administration of justice.
During their time at the courts, the interns engaged in direct interactions with judicial officers and bar members. This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of how district-level justice works and highlighted the strong connection between the courts and local correctional institutions.
The successful organization of the visit was made possible with the cooperation of the Peshawar High Court, District and Sessions Judges of Haripur, and the Senior Civil Judge (Admin) of Haripur. Their support ensured that the interns experienced a well-structured and insightful tour of both the Haripur Courts and the Central Prison Haripur.
Organizers described the visit as more than just an academic exercise. It provided interns with a unique perspective on the inner workings of the judiciary and bar associations, leaving them inspired about their future roles as custodians of justice.
