The Chief Executive Officer of IPSOS held a briefing with Federal Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal to present findings on public attitudes and awareness regarding the HPV vaccine. The meeting reviewed recent survey results and recommendations for improving vaccine confidence across communities.

Present at the meeting were the Federal Secretary Health and the Director General FDI, who joined the discussion on outreach strategies and data-driven communication. The IPSOS executive outlined shifts in public sentiment and areas where targeted awareness campaigns can have the most impact.

The briefing highlighted that following the minister’s practical step of having his daughter vaccinated, there has been a noticeable improvement in public attitude toward the HPV vaccine. Officials reported a significant increase in positive opinion and a 20 percent decline in negative tendencies, underscoring the effect of visible leadership on vaccine acceptance.

Minister Mustafa Kamal praised IPSOS for their efforts and stressed that such initiatives not only raise awareness about the HPV vaccine but also help restore public trust. He emphasized the need for coordinated action between government departments, health agencies, and research partners to sustain this momentum.

Reiterating the government’s strategy, the minister said a comprehensive plan is already in place to protect people from diseases and outbreaks. He urged citizens not to be swayed by negative propaganda and reminded the public that prevention is better than cure, stressing the importance of vaccination to keep communities healthy.

Authorities said they will continue to monitor attitudes toward the HPV vaccine and expand outreach where needed, with the goal of increasing vaccine uptake and preventing future disease burdens through informed, confidence-building measures.
