Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar led a focused HEC review with the commission team while the meeting was chaired by Federal Secretary for Education and Professional Training Nadeem Mahbub to monitor progress on the Prime Minister’s directives for the higher education sector.
The discussion concentrated on ensuring seamless implementation of priority initiatives, with particular attention on final preparations for the ICT Competency Test scheduled for early April. Officials emphasised coordinated execution and the necessary administrative steps to ensure the ICT Competency Test is ready for nationwide administration.
The HEC review reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to implement the Government’s vision with diligence. By working in close harmony with the Ministry, HEC will pursue these strategic priorities to deliver tangible benefits for students and faculty across Pakistan.
