Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi has launched a citywide effort to brighten parks and protect seasonal planting ahead of the New Year, focusing on maintenance of flowers and trees during the cold months. The initiative uses available resources to improve recreational and safety arrangements for residents while ensuring planted beds receive winter protection.

Following instructions from Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, Managing Director of the Horticulture Agency, teams have completed decoration and winter-proofing work at Liaquat Bagh. Colorful blooms and carefully tended beds at Liaquat Bagh are creating a springlike atmosphere that has drawn families and visitors who are enjoying the enhanced public space.

Horticulture Agency staff are carrying out gardening duties with commitment across parks and green belts, working day and night to shelter plants from harsh cold and to maintain flower displays. Routine pruning, mulching and protective measures have been intensified so the city’s plantings remain healthy through winter.

The drive at Liaquat Bagh and other parks aligns with the Punjab government’s goal to make Rawalpindi greener and to provide safer, healthier recreational areas. Continued attention to planting and winter care will keep Liaquat Bagh welcoming for citizens throughout the season.
