Horticulture Rawalpindi has completed decoration and protective measures at Atta-ur-Rehman Shaheed Park to safeguard winter plantings and present a colorful public space for the city. Following directions from the MD of the Horticulture Agency, teams worked to insulate and care for flowers and shrubs while completing aesthetic enhancements that have drawn public attention.

Ahmed Hassan Ranjha directed the effort to ensure all necessary resources were deployed to preserve plants from the cold and to improve visitor amenities. The park’s beds now display vibrant seasonal blooms that create a springlike atmosphere, and the well-decorated pathways have become a popular attraction for families seeking outdoor recreation.

Staff of the Horticulture Agency continue regular gardening and maintenance activities at Atta-ur-Rehman Park, working through the season with focused responsibility. Horticulture Rawalpindi is committed to day-and-night efforts to maintain greenery and provide safe, pleasant facilities for citizens, aligning with the Punjab government’s vision for healthier urban spaces.

A vigorous tree plantation campaign is also underway across Rawalpindi to help reduce environmental pollution and smog. The agency says these planting drives, together with ongoing park care and winter protection measures, will strengthen the city’s green cover and enhance public well-being in the long term.
