The Inter Boards Coordination Commission held a focused meeting in Islamabad where Executive Director Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah reviewed progress on key IT initiatives and reiterated the push toward a fully automated and paperless environment. The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran before Mr. Muhammad Kashif, Deputy Director (IT), and his team outlined the status of ongoing projects and upcoming digital rollouts.
The briefing detailed work on multiple platforms that form the backbone of IBCC digital services, including the Online Board Verification System, Customer Care Desk, Equivalence Portal, Attestation Portal, Digital Verification System and an E-Payment Facility allowing card payments for national and international applicants. Updates on the official IBCC website and coordination with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education’s online verification system were also presented.
Dr. Mallah stressed that modern technology is essential to enhance transparency, speed up service delivery and improve access for students and educational institutions across Pakistan and abroad. He directed the IT team to make systems more user-friendly so applicants can complete transactions without unnecessary physical visits, underscoring the central role of IBCC digital services in that transition.
Appreciating the IT team’s dedication, the Executive Director acknowledged their professionalism in handling multiple initiatives despite limited human resources. He praised their contribution to the organisation’s digital transformation and urged continued consolidation of secure, accessible platforms.
The meeting concluded with a clear reaffirmation of commitment to expand digital services and cultivate a paperless institutional culture, ensuring efficient, transparent and technology-driven service delivery for students and educational institutions nationwide and internationally.
