The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training has inaugurated a new Customer Care Desk (CCD) at the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) headquarters in Islamabad. This initiative aims to offer students streamlined, transparent, and user-friendly support for issues related to attestation and equivalence of educational documents.
During the inauguration, the Executive Director of IBCC, Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, provided an overview of the organization’s recent reforms implemented since the introduction of the IBCC Act XIII of 2023. These reforms include the launch of centralized online portals for attestation and equivalence, the establishment of a Model Assessment Framework, adoption of a uniform grading system and academic calendar, digital verification facilities, the introduction of the 1-Link payment system, and the formation of global partnerships with international educational bodies such as Pearson, Oxford AQA, and ECCTIS.
The newly established CCD is designed to address students’ queries and complaints efficiently, significantly reducing delays and bureaucratic obstacles. The Federal Minister commended the IBCC for embracing technology-driven solutions, stating that providing modern facilities for students is a crucial national responsibility. The Minister emphasized that the CCD will ensure students receive timely assistance, aligning educational services with the needs of the digital era and benefiting millions nationwide.
