**SHARP Engages Stakeholders in Karachi to Address Human Rights Concerns Under Repatriation Plan**

In response to ongoing developments under the Illegal Foreigners Repatriation Plan (IFRP), the Society for Human Rights and Prisoners’ Aid (SHARP) has intensified its engagement with key stakeholders in Karachi to ensure a coordinated and rights-based approach to the situation. The organization recently held a high-level meeting to discuss the impact of the repatriation plan and reinforce protection for affected communities.

Ms. Quratulain, Officer in Charge at SHARP Karachi, led the strategic coordination session with Mr. Justice (R) Hasan Feroz, Chairman of the Environmental Tribunal and Provincial Commissioner Scouts, along with Ms. Asma Batool, Additional Deputy Commissioner (South). The meeting took place at the Sindh Boy Scouts Association Provincial Headquarters.

During the discussions, participants reviewed recent developments in IFRP operations in Karachi. Special attention was given to the management and conditions of holding centers as well as the broader protection challenges faced by communities subject to repatriation. The meeting underscored the importance of safeguarding human rights and upholding the rule of law as authorities implement the plan.

SHARP reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and collaborative humanitarian action, emphasizing the vital role of ongoing coordination among stakeholders in responding to these evolving circumstances.
