The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) recently held its 102nd Selection Board meeting at the Faisal Masjid Campus, focusing on faculty recruitment and academic excellence. The session was chaired by University President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed and brought together prominent academic and judicial figures alongside university leadership.
Distinguished participants included Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer of the Federal Shariat Court, Higher Education Commission representative Prof. Dr. Ghulam Raza Bhatti, Fatima Jinnah Women University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza, and Prof. Dr. Sadia Nadeem, Dean at FAST School of Management. Internal university representation featured Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President for Research & Enterprise, Prof. Dr. Rehmat Elahi, Director of Quality Assurance, and other senior officials.
The Board conducted interviews to fill academic positions in a range of departments, such as Education, Psychology, Pakistan Studies, History, Sociology, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Hadith & Its Sciences. This rigorous selection process underscores the university’s emphasis on attracting high-caliber faculty to strengthen its academic programs.
