Indonesian Independence marked in Islamabad as officials celebrate the 80th anniversary and 75 years of Pakistan Indonesia ties with dignitaries present.

Mr. and Mrs. Lt Gen Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo (R), Ambassador of Indonesia to Pakistan, hosted a ceremony in Islamabad to mark Indonesian Independence, which coincided with the 80th anniversary of the Indonesian Armed Forces and the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-Indonesia relations. The event underscored the significance of Indonesian Independence and commemorated decades of shared history between the two nations.

The gathering was honoured by the presence of Federal Minister Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary as chief guest, while Minister of State for Law Barrister Aqeel Malik also attended. Pakistani ministers extended heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Indonesia, noting the enduring goodwill that defines bilateral ties.

Speakers at the celebration highlighted the deep bond between Pakistan and Indonesia and expressed optimism about future cooperation. The observance of Indonesian Independence in Islamabad reaffirmed the nations as brotherly countries whose relationship is prospering day by day.
