Islamabad Police Crack High Profile Cases With Speed and Skill

Islamabad Police achieved a major breakthrough by swiftly resolving 15 high-profile criminal cases, including the notable murder cases of analyst Sardar Faheem, and arresting the accused. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met the entire Islamabad Police investigation team, commended their exceptional performance, and reiterated his full support and appreciation.

Minister Naqvi personally praised and encouraged the exemplary work of Islamabad Police officers during his meeting with the team. He specifically acknowledged the investigative teams’ professionalism, diligence, and use of advanced surveillance technology to crack challenging and sensitive cases rapidly.

“Well done, Islamabad Police. We are proud of your performance,” Minister Naqvi stated, further highlighting the importance of their dedication to quickly resolving “blind murder” and other significant criminal cases through innovative investigative methods.

Among the 15 notable cases solved swiftly was the widely reported murder of analyst Sardar Faheem. Praising the dedicated use of modern technology and effective surveillance, Minister Naqvi termed the police team’s efforts to resolve this challenging case as remarkable and commendable.

The Interior Minister warmly acknowledged Islamabad Police’s senior officials, including IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Jawad Tariq, SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib, SSP Investigation Usman Tariq Butt, SP City Suleman Zafar, SP Saddar Kazim Naqvi, ASP Ali Raza, Assistant Director Abbas Mehdi, DSP Suleman Shah, and several SHOs and investigative personnel. Minister Naqvi noted that IG Rizvi, DIG Tariq, and their entire team deserve special accolades for their outstanding performance.

Expressing confidence in the police force’s continued success, Minister Naqvi stated, “I hope Islamabad Police will continue performing their duties with the same commitment, hard work, and zeal to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and properties.”

During the meeting, Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi specifically highlighted Constable Rana Waseem’s professional skills in the investigative team. Minister Naqvi directed IG Rizvi to expedite the promotion process for Rana Waseem, who has diligently served as a constable for 21 years, instructing that this promotion should follow necessary rules and regulations.

Also present during this high-level gathering were Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.
