DHO Syeda Rashida Batool reviews MR vaccination in Islamabad as the campaign runs 17-29 November 2025 to strengthen child immunization coverage.

An evening review meeting of the Measles & Rubella (MR) Vaccination Campaign was chaired by District Health Officer Islamabad Syeda Rashida Batool, where progress of vaccination activities across the city was assessed and strategies were refined to further improve coverage. Officials examined field operations and coordination between teams to ensure the campaign reaches all targeted areas.

MR vaccination activities are ongoing across Islamabad from 17 to 29 November 2025, with mobile and fixed sites working to provide safe and timely immunization for all eligible children. The review emphasised strengthening monitoring, supply management and community outreach to sustain momentum through the remainder of the campaign.

Local health authorities highlighted the importance of household engagement and timely reporting of progress to identify gaps in coverage. Caregivers are encouraged to bring eligible children for MR vaccination during the campaign period to help protect every child in Islamabad.
