**Islamabad Authorities Arrest Syed Rauf in Crackdown on Illegal Wall Chalking Amid Violent Confrontation**

Islamabad authorities have intensified their efforts against illegal wall chalking, arresting Syed Rauf in the Sarai Kharbuza area following a heated confrontation involving his guards. The operation, led by Magistrate Sangjani Raja Shoaib on the instructions of the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner, highlights the city’s resolve to enforce regulations on public cleanliness despite resistance.

The crackdown began after officials repeatedly warned Syed Rauf to cease advertising his private establishment through unauthorized graffiti on public property. Despite clear instructions to remove the wall chalkings, Rauf allegedly ignored the warnings, prompting authorities to initiate strict legal action under Section 144, which prohibits wall chalking city-wide.

As law enforcement approached Rauf for compliance, tensions escalated. According to sources, Rauf not only refused to remove the graffiti but also threatened the magistrate and administrative staff with severe consequences. The confrontation intensified when Rauf’s personal guards physically resisted police efforts to detain him, resulting in a direct altercation on the scene.

Despite considerable resistance, authorities succeeded in arresting Syed Rauf. During the commotion, however, several individuals reportedly managed to escape by blending into the crowd, prompting police to launch an effort to identify and apprehend those who fled.

Officials have reiterated that wall chalking remains strictly prohibited in Islamabad and stated that any violations will continue to result in immediate legal consequences. The incident underscores the local administration’s commitment to upholding civic order and enforcing laws on public cleanliness and safety.
