The Central Executive Committee of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, led by President Abdul Aleem Khan, held a meeting where members expressed satisfaction over the party’s recent intra-party elections and their endorsement by the Election Commission. The committee also discussed the early appointment of central and provincial office bearers and held consultations regarding these roles.
During the meeting, some concerns were raised about the governance of the Punjab government. The committee decided that the party will fully participate in the upcoming by-elections, including those in Lahore, as well as the elections in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, with clear consultation and coordination among party members. Additionally, committee members agreed to hold the next major party convention, termed “Haqq Convention,” in Faisalabad.
