ITF Pakistan Ali Embroidery junior event concluded in Islamabad with Mikaeel Ali Baig and Ecrin Lal Yavuz winning titles; J-60 main draw starts 3 Nov.

The Pakistan Tennis Federation successfully concluded the ITF Pakistan Ali Embroidery World Junior Tennis Championship J-30 (Leg-2) 2025 at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex in Islamabad, bringing together a strong field of international junior players.

Competitors travelled from China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lithuania, Russia, Thailand, Turkey and the United Kingdom alongside a large contingent from Pakistan, reflecting growing regional interest in junior tennis and the role of ITF Pakistan events in player development.

The tournament received support from local sponsors Ali Embroidery, National Food and the Capital Development Authority, demonstrating private and public sector backing for youth sports in the capital.

In the Boys’ Singles final, Mikaeel Ali Baig of Pakistan defeated Kristijonas Milasaukas of Lithuania 6-3, 7-6(3) to lift the title, while in the Girls’ Singles final Ecrin Lal Yavuz of Turkey beat fellow Turk Serife Pelin Sari 6-0, 6-0 to claim the championship.

The closing ceremony featured Mr Syedaal Khan Nassar, Deputy Chairman Senate, as chief guest. Guests of honour included HE İrfan Neziroğlu, Ambassador of Turkey, Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, and Mr Zamrud Khan, CEO of Pakistan Sweet Home, who together with former Davis Cupper Mr Rashid Malik and Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail, Secretary General PTF, presented prizes to winners and runners-up.

The event was attended by Advocate Majid Bashir, President ITA, Major Rashid, former Secretary PTF, Mr Saeed Ahmad Khan (SVP-PTF), Col. Gul Rehman (Director C&S-PTF), and many players, parents and coaches who praised the organization and competitiveness of the tournament.

The Pakistan Tennis Federation also confirmed that the main draw matches of the ITF Pakistan J-60 World Junior Tennis Championship 2025 will commence on Monday, 3rd November 2025 at the PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad, continuing the momentum for junior tennis in the country.
