IWMB Plantation Drive for Native Trees at Margalla Hills

The Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB), in partnership with the Institute of Rural Management (IRM) and the Capital Development Authority (CDA), organized a plantation drive at Trail 7 in Margalla Hills National Park. The event, titled “Aik Beti, Aik Shajar,” aimed to highlight the importance of daughters while encouraging environmental sustainability through the planting of native trees.

This collaborative effort brought together members of civil society who participated in planting trees to enhance the natural beauty and biodiversity of the area. The initiative underscores the significance of both social and environmental responsibility, promoting a greener and more sustainable future for the community. The IWMB expressed gratitude to all participants for their support in making this project a success.
