The Ambassador of Japan in Pakistan, along with Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Industries and Production, recently engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening economic relations between Japan and Pakistan. The talks focused on utilizing the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai as a platform to enhance bilateral trade and investment opportunities.
During their meeting, both officials explored ways to leverage the international exposure and networking possibilities presented by the Expo. They emphasized the importance of collaboration in various industrial sectors and shared perspectives on Pakistan’s current industrial policy. The goal was to identify mutually beneficial initiatives that can foster innovation, technology transfer, and increased industrial cooperation.
