The Pakistan Embassy in Germany hosted an interactive session with Dr Saeed Akhtar, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Jinnah Medical Complex & Research Centre (JMC&RC), Islamabad, during his visit to Germany. The gathering brought together Pakistani-origin medical professionals practising across Germany for direct dialogue with Jinnah Medical leadership.

Participants exchanged ideas on how partnerships could enhance clinical training, support continuing medical education and foster collaborative research that benefits patients in Pakistan and the diaspora community.
The session provided a platform for Pakistani doctors in Germany to convey on-the-ground perspectives to JMC&RC leadership and explore practical steps for cooperation. Emphasis was placed on building sustainable training links and research pathways that align with the needs of Pakistani healthcare institutions while leveraging German expertise.
Representatives noted that ongoing engagement between Jinnah Medical and Pakistani medical professionals abroad could pave the way for targeted capacity building and mutually beneficial research collaborations.
