Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Engages with Islamabad Business Leaders to Boost Bilateral Cooperation
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, met with leading businessmen from Islamabad to explore new opportunities for economic collaboration between the two countries. The session brought together representatives from diverse sectors, including construction, real estate, information technology, tourism, education, printing, security services, and light industry. The Pakistani business delegation was led by Mr. Rashid Humayun, Chairman of the Center for International Business & Expo Organization.
During the meeting, participants held in-depth discussions on promising areas of joint cooperation and emphasized the importance of building stronger direct relationships between entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan and Pakistan. Ambassador Kistafin briefed attendees on recent and upcoming business events, and outlined ongoing initiatives aimed at establishing sustainable platforms for business engagement and dialogue.
Pakistani businessmen expressed keen interest in exploring mutually beneficial opportunities, highlighting their willingness to work closely with Kazakh counterparts on a range of potential projects. Both sides agreed that enhancing trade and investment ties would bring significant advantages to their respective economies.
As a key outcome of the meeting, it was decided to organize a dedicated event in the near future featuring the broader business community. This event, to be hosted by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, will showcase Kazakhstan’s investment and trade opportunities to a wider Pakistani audience and serve as a step toward deepening bilateral commercial relations.
