Professor Dr. Rafia Mumtaz, Vice Chancellor of Kohsar University, carried out a comprehensive inspection of the Jhika Gali campus in Murree, meeting with the campus in-charge, deans and heads of departments to review academic and administrative affairs.
During the visit she walked through departments, laboratories, classrooms, the library and the dispensary, assessing both available resources and the challenges faced by staff and students. Campus leadership provided detailed briefings on current operations and areas requiring attention, and the Vice Chancellor issued directions to prioritise upgrades where needed.
There will be no compromise on academic standards, she told faculty, stressing that Kohsar University must continue to deliver quality education. She assured teaching staff that they will be supported with the facilities and resources required to focus on instruction and student development.
Emphasising alignment with modern educational needs, the Vice Chancellor directed that high-quality improvements be made to infrastructure and learning environments. Her visit underlined Kohsar University’s commitment to strengthening campus services and addressing the concerns of students and employees in the Murree region.
This year Professor Dr. Rafia Mumtaz was honoured with the Pride of Performance award, recognition widely seen as affirmation of her leadership and contributions to educational development in Pakistan.
