Rawalpindi Police’s Lady Inspector Aram Khan has been selected to represent Pakistan at the International World Powerlifting Championship to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Aram Khan is scheduled to depart for Colombo on 23 November 2025.
City Police Officer Syed Khalid Hamdani recognized Lady Inspector Aram Khan’s achievements with a commemorative certificate and a cash award in appreciation of her sporting excellence and dedication. The presentation highlighted the department’s support for officers who pursue athletics alongside their duties.
Aram Khan’s recent record includes a strong showing at the Inter Region Archery Championship in Rawalpindi on 4 October, where she earned one gold medal and two silver medals. She also secured a gold medal in the powerlifting championship held at PC Farooqabad on 23 October, underscoring her versatility across sports.
The Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said the department is deploying all available resources to provide sporting opportunities to police officers and to showcase their talents on national and international stages. Lady Inspector Aram Khan’s selection for the World Powerlifting Championship reflects that ongoing commitment.
