Mansoor Ahmad Khan elected president of Pakistan Lacrosse Federation; he vows to grow lacrosse nationwide with emphasis on youth, women and grassroots development.

The Pakistan Lacrosse Federation unanimously elected Mansoor Ahmad Khan as its new president during an online General Council meeting attended by all members and international representatives. The Islamabad-based federation said the unanimous vote reflects strong confidence in his leadership and vision for the sport across Pakistan.

Mansoor Ahmad Khan brings decades of experience in sports administration, having served as Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board as well as Deputy Director General and Director Technical. His tenure at the sports board involved advancing sports infrastructure, athlete development and broader promotion of diverse games nationwide, experience PLF officials cited as critical to the federation’s future plans.

In his address to the General Council, Mansoor Ahmad Khan committed to accelerating lacrosse development with a clear focus on creating opportunities for youth, women and grassroots athletes. He highlighted lacrosse’s rapid growth across Asia and its recognition by the International Olympic Committee as reasons to expand coaching, clinics and talent pathways in Pakistan.

Under PLF’s platform the sport has already reached thousands of boys and girls through training programmes, workshops and newly established provincial and national events. With Mansoor Ahmad Khan at the helm, the federation aims to build on these gains and pursue participation in Asian Lacrosse Games, World Championships and eventual Olympic qualification.

General Council members and international representatives extended their congratulations and expressed confidence in Mansoor Ahmad Khan’s leadership as the PLF embarks on its next phase of growth and wider public engagement in Pakistan.
