Iraqi Embassy visit in Islamabad sees MNA Shaghfta Joumani congratulate new mission head Khaled Zankina and pledge stronger parliamentary ties.

Shaghfta Joumani, a Member of the National Assembly and member of the Iraqiโ€‘Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, visited the Iraqi Embassy in Islamabad today to congratulate Khaled Karim Muhammad Zankina on his assumption of duties as head of the Iraqi diplomatic mission.

Mrs. Joumani welcomed the new mission head and wished him success, underscoring the National Assembly and the Parliamentary Friendship Groupโ€™s commitment to strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding between the two sister countries to advance political, parliamentary and cultural ties.

Mr. Khaled Karim Muhammad Zankina thanked Mrs. Joumani for the visit and reaffirmed that Iraq values its historical relations with Pakistan. He said the embassy will work to promote and expand cooperation across political, economic, cultural and parliamentary spheres, serving the common interests of both peoples.

During the meeting at the Iraqi Embassy, officials exchanged friendly talks focused on bilateral relations and explored ways to develop parliamentary, cultural and consular cooperation, reflecting shared priorities within Islamabadโ€™s diplomatic circles.
