A delegation from the 44th Mid-Career Management Course visited Parliament House in Islamabad, touring Constitution Avenue and the Senate Museum, viewing a documentary on the upper house’s history, and receiving a briefing in the Senate Hall on parliamentary procedures and the legislative process.
Senior Senate officials welcomed the delegation on arrival and escorted members through key areas of the parliamentary complex. The visitors were shown Constitution Avenue before being taken into the Senate Museum, where they watched a documentary detailing the history of the upper house.
At the museum, the delegation showed particular interest in the statues and historical photographs of the country’s prominent politicians, discussing the displays that chronicle the Senate’s evolution and institutional legacy.
The group later visited the Senate Hall, where officials briefed them on the chamber’s procedures, the lawmaking process, and the significance of the Senate’s functions. The briefings aimed to provide participants with a practical understanding of parliamentary operations and the role of the upper house in the legislative framework.
