Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Ms. Wajiha Qamar visited the INOVISTA DHA Quetta Center and other NAVTTC-affiliated institutions offering specialized courses in Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity and modern vocational training. She interacted directly with students and instructors to assess the practical training environment and the industry-aligned curriculum.
During her visit Ms. Qamar applauded the students for their confidence and technical skills and commended the institutions for delivering quality, industry-relevant education. The focus on AI training and cybersecurity was highlighted as a key step toward equipping young people with marketable skills for the digital economy.
She noted that under the vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, over 53,000 young men and women in Balochistan are being trained in cutting-edge technologies, a significant move toward digital empowerment and inclusive national development. Ms. Qamar emphasised that these initiatives are creating pathways to employment and entrepreneurship for the province’s youth.
Ms. Qamar added that the government is expanding similar centres across Balochistan to foster innovation and enable local talent to play a leading role in Pakistan’s digital transformation. She reaffirmed that education and skills training form the foundation of a strong, self-reliant Pakistan and urged continued focus on practical AI training and vocational programs to meet evolving industry needs.
