Federal Minister for IT & Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja met with representatives of Security Code Company to discuss measures for strengthening Pakistan’s cybersecurity, protecting sensitive data, and advancing the Digital Pakistan agenda through secure and trusted technologies.
Security Code Company, a provider of comprehensive information protection solutions for both software and hardware, briefed the minister on its capabilities and solutions designed to safeguard digital assets. The meeting provided a forum to review current risks and the technological options available to address them.
Discussion centered on enhancing the country’s cybersecurity posture and data-protection frameworks. Participants examined ways to deploy secure technologies across public and private sectors, increase trust in digital services, and ensure protection of citizen and institutional data as Pakistan expands its digital infrastructure.
Both sides explored opportunities for closer cooperation, including industry-government collaboration, capacity building, and adoption of best practices and standards to bolster resilience against cyber threats. The meeting reflects the ministry’s emphasis on partnering with technology providers to support a secure, trusted Digital Pakistan.
