Misbah Khar, Advisor to the Chairman of the Senate and Ambassador to the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC), held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Islamabad to discuss ways to deepen Pakistan–UAE cooperation.
The talks focused on expanding collaboration in investment, trade and broader economic opportunities, with both sides exploring avenues to unlock mutual benefits and promote sustainable economic growth across multiple sectors.
Misbah Khar stressed that Pakistan values its long-standing relationship with the UAE, rooted in shared history and strong people-to-people ties, and highlighted the need for sustained high-level engagement at government, parliamentary and societal levels to further strengthen bilateral links.
The UAE Ambassador congratulated Pakistan on successfully hosting the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference in Islamabad last November and commended efforts to promote parliamentary diplomacy. Both delegations agreed that enhanced parliamentary exchanges and continued high-level interaction will help boost bilateral relations and expand cooperation across diverse fields.
