Motorway Police IG Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry inspects M1 M2 and M14 on April 9, 2026, reviewing field duty and issuing directives to strengthen motorway operations.

Islamabad, April 9, 2026 — Inspector General of the Motorway Police Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry conducted a comprehensive visit to motorway sectors M-1, M-2 and M-14 to assess ongoing field duties and operational readiness.

The IG was accompanied by senior officials including the DIG Headquarters and the DIG Motorway North as he moved through multiple duty points. During the inspection he examined deployment patterns, response arrangements and the condition of duty posts to ensure effective service delivery along these corridors.

Throughout the visit the Motorway Police leadership reviewed frontline activities and discussed measures to enhance safety and coordination on the motorways. The IG issued important directives to officers at the sites aimed at improving supervision and maintaining continuous vigilance across M-1, M-2 and M-14.

Officials emphasized the importance of consistent field oversight and swift implementation of the instructions provided during the inspection. The Motorway Police said the visit was part of sustained efforts to monitor field performance and strengthen motorway operations in the region.
