MSO Pakistan will observe the death anniversary of founding member Qamar Uz Zaman Chaudhry across universities today, 23 November, marking the anniversary of his passing in 2015.
Qamar Uz Zaman Chaudhry is remembered as one of the young leaders who played a central role in the establishment of MSO Pakistan, helping shape its organizational framework and shore up its ideological foundations. His work on the moral and intellectual training of students remains a guiding reference for the movement.
Events in campuses nationwide will include Quran recitation, prayer gatherings and intellectual sessions to pay tribute to his organizational and ideological contributions. MSO Pakistan chapters have organized these programs to reaffirm the principles that Chaudhry helped embed in the student movement.
Bilal Rabbani, speaking for the organization, said that Qamar Uz Zaman Chaudhry’s struggle continues to serve as a beacon for young activists and that his legacy still strengthens the movement’s ideological base. The activities are coordinated locally by MSO Rawalpindi’s publications wing and by campus chapters across the country.
