RAWALPINDI: The MSO district Rawalpindi organised a students’ rally for the protection of Haramain Sharifain from Taleemul Quran, Raja Bazaar, with MSO workers, students and citizens taking part in large numbers.
The rally was led by Nazim Ali Arsalan Kiani. Participants were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans and demands regarding the protection of Haramain Sharifain, the sanctity of sacred places and condemnation of Houthi aggression.
The participants expressed their deep devotion to Haramain Sharifain and raised slogans in support of the sanctity and protection of the holy sites.
Addressing the rally, Nazim-e-Aala Arsalan Kiani said Haramain Sharifain were the centre of devotion, love and faith for the entire Muslim Ummah. He said the hearts of Muslims were attached to the Holy Kaaba and Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH), and therefore the issue of the sanctity and honour of the sacred places was of utmost importance for the whole Ummah.
Condemning Houthi aggression, he said any steps in the region that posed a threat to the peace and security of the sacred places were a matter of concern. He said the Muslim Ummah should rise above internal differences and unite on the issue of the protection and sanctity of Haramain Sharifain.
The speaker said it was the need of the hour to educate the younger generation about the greatness of Haramain Sharifain, Islamic history and the importance of sacred places. He said MSO would continue to play its role in promoting religious awareness, unity of the Ummah and Islamic values among the youth.
He said peace in Haramain Sharifain was a source of satisfaction for the entire Muslim Ummah. He urged all Muslim countries and responsible forces to play their role for the protection of sacred places, peace in the region and an end to tensions.
The participants raised slogans including “Haramain Sharifain ki hurmat, jaan se bhi zyada azeez” and “Haramain Sharifain ka tahaffuz, hamara iman.” Through placards, they expressed their sentiments regarding the sanctity and peace of Haramain Sharifain.
The rally started from Taleemul Quran, Raja Bazaar, and reached Fawara Chowk, where participants expressed their views and sentiments. At the conclusion of the rally, prayers were offered for the safety of Haramain Sharifain, unity of the Muslim Ummah, and peace and stability in the Islamic world.
