UNFPA Pakistan, the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and Aiming Change for Tomorrow – ACT convened the National Youth Summit 2025 to give young people across Pakistan a platform to share ideas, discuss challenges and explore better opportunities.

The summit was graced by Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, who attended as the chief guest and underscored the importance of empowering youth to play an active role in national development.

At the National Youth Summit participants engaged in candid conversations aimed at identifying practical pathways for greater youth engagement, with a focus on creating opportunities that allow young people to contribute meaningfully to their communities and to the country.

A key outcome of the day was the signing of a five-year Memorandum of Understanding between UNFPA and PMYP, a formal commitment to collaborate on programs and initiatives that advance youth development and empowerment nationwide.

The new partnership announced at the summit sets a cooperative framework to turn dialogue into sustained action, expanding opportunities for Pakistan’s youth and strengthening their voice in Pakistan’s social and economic progress.
