KARACHI: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf visited various Pakistan Navy units at sea and in the Creeks Area to review the conduct of Exercise SEASPARK 2026, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General Public Relations (Pakistan Navy).
The exercise, which has been under way since September 1, is a major biennial maritime exercise of the Pakistan Navy. It is conducted to rehearse the full spectrum of maritime operations and provides an opportunity to demonstrate operational preparedness as well as the ability to rapidly transition from peacetime deployments to wartime operations.
According to the Pakistan Navy, Exercise SEASPARK 2026 is being conducted in line with the changing character of war under the overarching umbrella of Operations in Information Environment (OIEs). The manifestation of Multi Domain Operations and extensive use of unmanned systems are among the hallmarks of this year’s exercise.
During his visits, Admiral Naveed Ashraf interacted with personnel participating in the exercise. He expressed satisfaction over their professional excellence, high morale, operational readiness and untiring resolve to be invincible at sea.
