Ms. Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), held a meeting with Ms. Nishat Riaz, Chief Executive of the Malala Fund in Pakistan, at the NAVTTC Headquarters in Islamabad to discuss potential collaborations in education and vocational training.
During the meeting, both leaders explored ways to strengthen their partnership to promote skills development and educational opportunities for young people, particularly girls, across Pakistan. The discussion focused on identifying areas where NAVTTC’s technical training programs could align with the Malala Fund’s initiatives aimed at empowering girls through education.
Ms. Ahmad highlighted NAVTTC’s ongoing efforts to enhance vocational training infrastructure and make technical education more accessible to marginalized communities. She emphasized the importance of joint ventures to bridge the skills gap and increase employability among youth.
Ms. Riaz shared updates on the Malala Fund’s projects in Pakistan, stressing the organization’s commitment to girls’ education and gender equality. She expressed interest in working closely with NAVTTC to expand outreach and maximize impact through shared resources and expertise.
Both parties agreed to continue dialogue and explore concrete steps towards implementing collaborative projects that advance education and training opportunities nationwide.
