Ms. Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), recently visited the Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technical College in Yiwu city, China, to review preparations for Pakistani students who will undergo vocational training at the institution starting March 2026.
During her visit, Ms. Ahmad evaluated the facilities, educational resources, and training infrastructure at the renowned institution to ensure a smooth transition and effective learning environment for the Pakistani trainees. The upcoming training initiative is part of NAVTTC’s commitment to enhance vocational and technical skills among Pakistani youth, increasing employment opportunities and strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and China in vocational education.
The delegation led by Ms. Ahmad also held discussions with college authorities and officials to finalize logistics and detailed arrangements necessary for students’ accommodation, training schedules, and other essential services. Both parties reaffirmed their mutual dedication to providing high-quality vocational education and training opportunities, paving the way for greater knowledge exchange and collaboration between the two countries.
This initiative reflects ongoing efforts by NAVTTC to equip Pakistan’s youth with internationally recognized technical skills and expertise, thereby contributing significantly to the advancement of vocational and skill development programs across the country.
