**National Book Foundation to Launch Bookshop at NIPA Karachi to Foster Reading Culture**

The National Book Foundation (NBF) is set to establish a new bookshop at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) in Karachi, as part of its ongoing mission to promote reading and literacy across Pakistan. This initiative comes after Dr. Kamran Jahangir, Managing Director of NBF, met with Dr. Syed Saif Ur Rehman, Director General of NIPA, to discuss the collaboration.

During the meeting, the Director General of NIPA offered a dedicated space within the institute for the creation of an NBF bookshop. The planned outlet will cater to both civil service officers and the wider public, aiming to foster intellectual engagement and cultivate a love for literature within the community.

This collaboration is in line with NBF’s mandate to drive literary development, inclusive publishing, and broad access to high-quality books throughout the country. By launching the bookshop at a prominent public administration institute, the NBF hopes to seamlessly integrate literature into public service environments, encouraging lifelong learning among current and future policymakers.

The new bookshop is expected to enhance NBF’s cultural outreach efforts, strengthening its role as a key player in Pakistan’s literary scene and supporting the growth of book culture in Karachi and beyond.
