NCRC meets the new Human Rights Secretary to strengthen coordination, policy advocacy and child protection across federal and provincial levels.

The Chairperson of the National Commission on the Rights of the Child (NCRC) extended warm congratulations to the newly appointed Human Rights Secretary and formally welcomed him to the commission. The Chairperson provided a comprehensive briefing on the NCRC’s mandate, its core functions, notable achievements and ongoing initiatives focused on protecting and promoting the rights of children across Pakistan.

Discussion during the meeting centred on practical steps to strengthen institutional coordination between the NCRC and the Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR).
