Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal held a meeting with Dr. Shabina Raza, Country Director of Nutrition International Pakistan, to discuss strategies for enhancing nutrition-related initiatives across the country. The discussion focused on making nutrition projects more effective, expanding maternal and child health programs, and aligning efforts with the goals of the National Nutrition Policy.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on how best to strengthen ongoing and future projects to address nutritional challenges in Pakistan. Special emphasis was placed on scaling up interventions that improve the health of mothers and children, recognizing their critical role in the nation’s overall well-being.
Minister Kamal expressed his appreciation for the contributions made by Nutrition International in advancing the national health agenda. Both sides agreed to continue close collaboration and support to achieve shared objectives in improving nutrition and public health outcomes throughout Pakistan.
