OIC-COMSTECH Highlights International Startups at SEE Pakistan 2025

OIC-COMSTECH, in partnership with the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan, played a prominent role at SEE Pakistan 2025, the nation’s largest technology and entrepreneurship expo. The event featured the World Startup Championship, attracting leading innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors from around the world as the top 100 startups vied for international recognition.

OIC-COMSTECH facilitated the participation of several standout international startups from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Among these were FORMETA from University Technology Sarawak in Malaysia, Irrigo from Baku State University in Azerbaijan, Your Scents from University Technology MARA in Malaysia, and Smart Fert from Mauritania. These teams introduced pioneering solutions in areas such as technology, health, the environment, lifestyle, and sustainability, underscoring the dynamic entrepreneurial spirit found across the Muslim world.

A delegation representing COMSTECH included members from Benin, Senegal, Gabon, Bangladesh, and Mauritania. This group actively engaged in networking sessions and knowledge-sharing activities, strengthening ties among OIC countries and fostering international collaboration.

One of the expo’s highlights was a panel discussion on the role of industry in startup commercialization in the age of artificial intelligence. Professor Dr. Ahmed Elmouna, Honorary Advisor to OIC-COMSTECH for Science and Technology in the MENA region, provided expert perspectives on how artificial intelligence is transforming industry–startup relationships and accelerating the commercial development of new ideas.

OIC-COMSTECH’s strong involvement at SEE Pakistan 2025 demonstrated its ongoing commitment to advancing science, technology, and innovation. The organization continues to help OIC member states access global entrepreneurship platforms, expanding opportunities and impact for innovators across the international stage.
