Osama Butt Wins Silver Medal for Pakistan at World Mas Wrestling Championship in Mongolia

Pakistani athlete Osama Butt has made the country proud by winning the silver medal at the World Mas Wrestling Championship, currently taking place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Representing the Pakistan Mas Wrestling Federation, Butt’s exceptional performance earned him a historic accolade for Pakistan on the international stage of this traditional sport.

Under the guidance of experienced coach Muhammad Ibrahim Baig, Osama Butt began his campaign by defeating a local Mongolian athlete in the opening round. He continued his winning streak in the second bout, overcoming a strong competitor from Kazakhstan to secure a place in the final.

In the final match, Butt delivered a spirited performance but narrowly missed out on the gold medal. Despite this, his silver medal finish is seen as a momentous achievement for Pakistan and a testament to the country’s growing prominence in traditional sports.
