The Pakistan Air Force football team reached the final of the All Pakistan Inter-Services Football Tournament after a commanding performance in Karachi. PAF finished top of the league table with four points, Pakistan Army took second with three points and Pakistan Navy finished third on one point. The title decider between PAF and Pakistan Army will be played tomorrow, with both sides set to contest a high-stakes final.
Coach Muhammad Arshad credited the squad’s unity and discipline for the result, saying ‘By the grace of Almighty Allah, our players displayed exceptional commitment and skill. Every member of the squad gave their best for the team’s success, executing the game plan with great discipline and precision.’
Arshad also acknowledged the quality of the opposition, noting that both Pakistan Army and Navy fielded strong sides. He added that he prepared the players physically and mentally and remained confident of success: ‘I had prepared them both physically and mentally, and I was confident that, with Allah’s help, we would succeed — and Alhamdulillah, we did.’
With focus now on the final, the PAF football unit aims to lift the championship trophy and continue the Air Force Falcons’ proud sporting tradition. The team’s discipline, collective determination and the coach’s leadership have drawn praise from fans in Karachi and across the country as the squad prepares for tomorrow’s decisive match.
