The Sports and Culture Attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, Mr. Cheng Peng, said the Pak China Bowling championship will further strengthen relations between the two countries during his visit to the venue at Leisure City Bowling Club, Safa Gold F-7 Mazkar, Islamabad.
Also present at the visit were other officials of the Chinese Embassy, including Mr. Zhang, and the President of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, Ijaz-ur-Rehman, who briefed the attaché on arrangements for the event.
Ijaz-ur-Rehman said preparations for the Pak China Bowling championship have already begun and confirmed that the Pak-China Friendship Tenpin Bowling Championship, together with the 18th National Tenpin Bowling Championship, will be held from January 24 to 30. Bowlers from across the country are expected to take part, and colourful cultural performances by singers, musicians and actors will mark the 75th anniversary of Pak-China friendship.
The president emphasised that the aim of the meet is to strengthen bilateral cooperation and to promote the sport of bowling in both countries. At the end of the visit, Mr. Cheng Peng thanked the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation for the plans and assured his full cooperation for the Pak China Bowling event.
