The 5th Pakistan Africa Trade Development Conference and Single Country Exhibition wrapped up after three days at Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa, closing a high-energy programme of trade talks and commercial showcases that advanced Pakistan Africa Trade.
Organised by the Ministry of Commerce and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan with support from the Embassy of Pakistan in Addis Ababa, the event drew hundreds of business leaders, government officials and private-sector representatives from across Africa, making this edition among the most vibrant in recent years and reinforcing Pakistan Africa Trade ties.
Exhibitors and delegates reported a strong visitor turnout and a high volume of focused B2B meetings that produced promising business leads and potential joint ventures. A productive visit to Ethiopian industrial parks gave Pakistani attendees firsthand insight into investment and manufacturing prospects, underlining the event’s practical focus on trade and investment linkages.
For Pakistan, the conference provided concrete opportunities to deepen exports, attract investment and build new supply chain connections with African partners. The Ministry of Commerce and TDAP will pursue follow-up engagements to convert discussions into collaborations, aiming to sustain momentum for long-term Pakistan Africa Trade growth and mutual economic benefit.
