Ambassador Khalil Hashmi attended the closing ceremony for the inaugural group of Pakistani agricultural professionals who completed advanced training in China as part of the Prime Minister’s Initiative for Capacity Building of 1,000 Agricultural Professionals. Approximately 300 participants constituted the first batch, with training conducted at two separate Chinese universities. The initiative reflects Pakistan’s commitment to modernising its agricultural industry and fostering international collaboration to introduce innovative solutions. By equipping emerging professionals with cutting-edge skills and exposure to new technologies, the programme is expected to contribute to increased productivity and sustainability in the sector. The participation of Ambassador Hashmi highlights the importance Pakistan attaches to capacity building and its strategic partnership with China in advancing agricultural development.
