The Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has arrived in Azerbaijan leading a parliamentary delegation aimed at enhancing bilateral relations, parliamentary cooperation, and economic ties between the two nations.
Upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was warmly welcomed by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Mr. Musa Guliyev, accompanied by Mr. Kamaladdin Gafarov, Head of the Azerbaijan–Pakistan Interparliamentary Working Group, and other senior Azerbaijani officials.
During the official visit, Speaker Sadiq is scheduled to hold significant meetings with key Azerbaijani leaders, including the President, Prime Minister, and Speaker of the Milli Majlis. These discussions will emphasize the enhancement of interparliamentary diplomacy, promotion of trade and economic ties, and the exploration of new partnerships in various areas of mutual interest.
This visit highlights the continued commitment of both Pakistan and Azerbaijan toward deepening their historic friendship, founded upon mutual respect, shared values, and firm support for each other’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
