**FPCCI President and Azerbaijan Ambassador Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Trade Relations**
The President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Atif Ikram Sheikh, held a meeting with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, focusing on enhancing bilateral trade ties and exploring new investment opportunities between the two countries.
During the meeting, both leaders shared their satisfaction over the recent positive developments in Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations, highlighting increasing cooperation at political, defense, economic, and social levels. Atif Ikram Sheikh welcomed Azerbaijan’s decision to invest in Pakistan, expressing optimism that such initiatives would contribute significantly to economic growth and mutual prosperity.
The FPCCI President also acknowledged Azerbaijan’s active and effective engagement on the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) platform, emphasizing Pakistan’s desire to foster multifaceted bilateral relations with Azerbaijan across all sectors.
Ambassador Farhadov praised Sheikh’s dynamic leadership, particularly his contributions as President of the ECO Chamber of Commerce and Industry, underscoring the importance of business community collaboration in further strengthening the close trade relationship between the two countries.
