Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned recent statements by what it described as the Israeli occupying power announcing plans to forcibly displace Palestinians, calling the remarks a violation of international law that undermines efforts toward regional peace and stability.
In a statement from the Office of the Spokesperson, Islamabad said any attempt to displace Palestinian communities or expand illegal settlements violates international human rights and humanitarian law. The ministry described such actions as a deliberate effort to derail peace prospects and stressed the urgent humanitarian consequences for civilians on the ground.
The statement urged the international community to respond to the humanitarian plight and to hold Israel accountable for actions that contravene international norms. Pakistan called for concerted diplomatic and legal measures to address ongoing abuses and protect vulnerable populations.
Reiterating its longstanding position, Pakistan affirmed unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and for the establishment of a sovereign, independent Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. The ministry said it remains committed to international efforts that advance a just and lasting resolution to the conflict.
