Pakistan condemns renewed Israeli attacks and urges international action to uphold the Gaza ceasefire and protect civilians.

Pakistan has strongly condemned the renewed attacks by Israeli forces in Gaza, which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says have resulted in civilian casualties and heightened tensions across the region.

The ministry described these actions as a clear breach of international law and a violation of the recently concluded peace agreement, warning that continued hostilities risk undermining efforts to secure durable peace and stability.

Pakistan called on the international community to take immediate measures to ensure an end to all ceasefire violations and to uphold the Gaza ceasefire so that humanitarian access and civilian protection can be restored without delay.

Reiterating its long-standing position, Pakistan affirmed support for the establishment of an independent, sovereign, viable and contiguous State of Palestine based on the pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, and urged renewed diplomatic engagement to achieve that outcome.

The Ministry emphasised that adherence to agreements and international law remains essential to preventing further escalation and securing a sustainable political settlement for the people of Palestine and the wider region. Islamabad 29 October 2025.
