**Pakistan and Denmark Bolster Cultural Relations at Ambassador’s Farewell Reception**
Pakistan and Denmark have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cultural cooperation and promoting artistic exchange during a farewell reception for the outgoing Danish Ambassador Jakob Linulf. The event, hosted by the Embassy of Denmark in Islamabad, served as a platform for dialogue between senior officials and underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral ties through arts, heritage, and tourism initiatives.
Ambassador Jakob Linulf, concluding his tenure in Pakistan, welcomed the Honourable Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, as the chief guest of the reception. The two dignitaries held wide-ranging discussions on expanding cultural collaboration and exploring areas of mutual interest. Their conversation focused on enhancing cultural exchange programs, encouraging increased tourism, and forging closer links between the Danish and Pakistani cultural sectors.
Adding to the significance of the event, Mr. Usman Shah, CEO of the Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design, participated alongside the federal minister. On behalf of the Government of Pakistan’s Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, Mr. Shah presented Ambassador Linulf with a culturally significant painting symbolizing the rich heritage of Sindh province. This artistic gesture was offered as a token of appreciation and served to highlight the shared commitment of both nations to fostering goodwill through cultural diplomacy.
The farewell occasion also witnessed a meeting between Federal Minister Khichi and the Italian Ambassador to Pakistan, Ms. Marilina Armellin.
