Pakistan Embassy Hosts Christmas Cake Event

Pakistan Embassy welcomed the Christian community in Denmark with a Christmas cake cutting to celebrate interfaith harmony and community ties.

A dignified cake cutting ceremony was held at the Pakistan Embassy in Denmark to honour the Christian community, bringing together diplomats and community leaders in a warm display of interfaith goodwill. The event opened with a prayer followed by a Christian hymn and a patriotic song, setting a respectful and celebratory tone.

Ambassador Shoaib Sarwar welcomed the attendees and told the gathering, “This embassy is your home.” He paid tribute to the role of the Christian community from the Pakistan Movement to the present day, adding that Pakistan would be incomplete without its Christian citizens.

Community leader Nawaz Salamat expressed appreciation for the ambassador’s efforts and presented a shield in recognition of his service. He also gifted a copy of his father’s book, Unsung Roles in the Pakistan Movement, as a token of gratitude.

Other prominent attendees included Nasir White, Gulrez Ghori, Nadeem Masih, Malik Zeeshan, Dr Naqash and Sulaiman Chaudhry, and the programme was hosted by Hina Nawaz. The gathering concluded on a pleasant note, with participants praising the Pakistan Embassy for promoting interfaith harmony and strengthening ties with the Christian community in Denmark.
